Big Announcements: Everything Arcade1Up Revealed at SDCC 2026

San Diego Comic-Con 2026 was packed with huge announcements from Arcade1Up. With roughly 10 to 11 cabinets showcased on the floor, spanning brand-new concepts, major line upgrades, and retail exclusive variants, there is a lot for retro gaming fans to unpack.

Targeting an October 2026 rollout across major retailers like Walmart, Target, Costco, and direct to consumer channels, here is the breakdown of everything shown and promised at SDCC 2026.

The Supreme Series Take Center Stage

Arcade1Up doubled down on their Supreme Series featuring Street Fighter 2 and OutRun with a 67-inch riser-less form factor and 19-inch BOE screen:

• Street Fighter II Supreme Series Arcade Machine ($649.99): Packing 14 classic Capcom titles and built-in Wi-Fi online play, this flagship cabinet gives competitive fighting game fans a huge screen upgrade and premium aesthetics.

• OutRun Supreme Series ($629.99 – Costco Exclusive): A massive standout for driving enthusiasts. Standing at 67 inches with a 19-inch BOE display, this cabinet includes 5 iconic SEGA driving titles: OutRun, Turbo OutRun, OutRunners, Power Drift, and Rad Rally.

• OutRun Deluxe Series ($599.99): For players looking for a slightly more compact setup, the Deluxe variant retains the core driving experience with a 17-inch screen at a lower price point.

Sonic the Hedgehog Makes His Home Arcade Debut

Easily one of the most talked about reveals on the floor, SEGA’s flagship mascot is getting his very own dedicated home arcade cabinet:

• Sonic the Hedgehog Supreme Series ($599.99 – Costco Exclusive): Outfitted with dual 8-way joysticks, a lit marquee, a 19-inch screen, and loaded with Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine, and Sonic 3D Blast.
• Sonic the Hedgehog Deluxe Series ($599.99): Releasing across Amazon, Walmart, and Target, this variant switches up the side art to highlight nostalgic Sega Genesis style graphics for classic console fans.

Special Event Spotlights: The PAC-MAN x blink-182 Booth

One of the coolest custom surprises on the convention floor was outside the main booth at the PAC-MAN x blink-182 collaboration booth. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the band’s landmark Take Off Your Pants and Jacket album, Bandai Namco teamed up with blink-182 for an exclusive arcade experience.

Featured at the booth were custom crafted Arcade1Up cabinets dressed in bright yellow and black artwork, complete with co-branded control decks, custom marquees, and a Pac-Man inspired blink-182 logo integrated into the graphics. While these custom builds were created specifically for the event space and promotional tour, seeing Arcade1Up cabs front and center for major pop culture crossovers ended up being a major highlight for them at SDCC.

NEW NBA JAM Deluxe

Arcade1Up showcased the new NBA JAM Deluxe Series edition, updated to the standard Deluxe form factor with a 17-inch display.

Important Community Note: Due to player licensing restrictions and roster adjustments this version of the NBA JAM Deluxe cabinet will not feature backwards compatible online cross-play with original legacy Arcade1Up NBA JAM cabinets. Players looking to jump online will be playing exclusively within the new hardware ecosystem.

Pac-Man Supreme: Back to Basics

For Namco purists, the new Pac-Man Supreme Series Arcade Machine ($649.99) arrives at Sam’s Club with authentic, vibrant yellow side art and a larger size.

Unlike previous releases loaded with a dozen or more titles, this unit features a curated 10 title games list focusing on arcade golden age staples like PAC-MAN, GALAGA, MAPPY, PAC-MANIA, and DIG DUG.

Teased for Q4: Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 Supreme Series

While no live hardware or final game lists were on display, Arcade1Up dropped a major announcement for fighting game fans: A Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 Supreme Series arcade cabinet is officially arriving in Q4, targeting deliveries right before Christmas!

• Where to Get It: Pre-orders will launch via Spreetail and direct on Arcade1Up’s web store with promise of aggressive pre-order pricing.
• Hardware Highlights: It will feature a light-up coin door along with upgraded Sanwa-like joysticks and buttons right out of the box.

Looking Ahead to 2027

Beyond the 2026 lineup announced at Comic-Con, which focuses heavily on refined Deluxe Series cabinets and NEW larger Supreme form factors, Arcade1Up explicitly teased that next year will mark the debut of “never before seen license titles” in home arcade.

These kinds of statements are what keep the home arcade community buzzing with speculation. While we have continuously seen the same repeated titles from the “Big Three” (Namco, Capcom, and Midway) reshuffled across different form factors, the promise of entirely new, unexecuted intellectual property suggests Arcade1Up is expanding its reach expecting to tap into new genres and perhaps venturing into classic console and PC properties that have never been produced in a dedicated arcade cabinet before. Arcade1Up views this strategy as a viable business model to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving space, pointing to marquee additions like this year’s Sonic the Hedgehog cabinet as a prime example of why this approach works well for their expanding audience.

In addition to new IPs, we expect further evolution of their actual cabinet hardware. While SDCC 2026 standardized the 19-inch BOE screen on Supreme cabs and promised upgraded “Sanwa-like” joysticks & buttons for specific releases (like the teased UMK3), 2027 will likely see these premium features become more prominent going forward, along with more specialized control decks including spinners, trackballs, and light-gun technology.
