The Price Increase Explained
- New Retail Price: The final retail price has officially been set at $1,199.
- What Happened: About five days into their Kickstarter campaign last March, new import tariffs hit, which caused a halt in new pledges and some backer cancellations.
- The Decision: Wonderland Amusements made the decision to absorb the new import taxes and not pass them on to their original Backers.
- Quality First: The company stated that the $999 price point is likely gone forever because they have “no interest in ‘costing down’ future versions of our machine” and are building for quality and experience.
